Emily Corr Lee is a storyteller weaving tales of resilience & redemption.

I’m Emily Corr Lee, your new author friend.

HI THERE

My Southern roots run long and deep and wide with a lineage full of farmers, traveling salesmen, beauty queens and handsome rascals, all hailing from Selma, Alabama. I spent summers there, barefoot and happy, playing with hordes of cousins. These memories have guided my own personal journey and left impressions on me that I have drawn from in my writing. Join me as I share stories that explore themes of integrity, determination, and the profound impact of love…the true depth of the human experience.

““If you find a book you really want to read but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.””

TONY MORRISON

A compelling exploration of redemption and resilience.

FOUND: A NOVEL

FOUND follows the journey of an abused child of a Middle Eastern jihadist, who, having been abandoned at the foot of The Duomo in Florence, Italy, is rescued by an aging American couple and taken home as their foster child to the Deep South. The racial bias and prejudice he confronts there, prompt horrific memories to return, leading him to grapple with the evil of his past and navigate a path toward redemption, forgiveness, and becoming “a good human.”
